Proposals developed with GRA Ltd. for the reconfiguration of existing archery butts and bowling club for the Royal Company of Archers in Edinburgh, to form a new archery butts, bowling clubhouse and terraced housing.
The proposal seeks to more effectively combine the summer season use of the site by the bowling club and the winter season use of the archery butts through the provision of a new building which effectively provides both functions. The natural terrain across the site is utilised to form covered parking below the bowling green serving a terrace of houses overlooking the meadows parkland.
