The proposals consist of the removal of derelict farm buildings, restoration of an existing stable building and the creation of two new symmetrical wings containing living and working accommodation to form a new enclosed courtyard. The existing stable building which sits at the centre of the development and contains reception and meeting spaces will be sensitively restored, while the new wings will be constructed with a simple palette of natural stone, timber, slate and glass derived from the existing building. The west wing provides a self contained farmhouse for the working farm to the rear of the development while the East wing contains open plan office accommodation overlooking the courtyard.
