Murdo McDermid - Part 1 Architectural Assistant
Murdo was born in Edinburgh and is currently employed at GRAS on his Part I year out, as of January 2011. Murdo graduated in 2012 with an MA(Hons.) in Architectural Design from the University of Edinburgh and is currently studying to achieve his Part II MArch under The University of Edinburgh’s new ESALA programme. He has a keen interest in sustainability and believes this is best achieved by prelonging the life of extisting structures through renovation and retro-fitting, whilst responding sensitively to the existing site conditions. Murdo also has a keen interest in photography both as a hobby and at a semi-professional level in the fields of architecture and for local fashion names.
