Murdo McDermid - Part 1 Architectural Assistant

Murdo was born in Edinburgh and is currently employed at GRAS on his Part 1 year out, as of January 2011, whilst studying to obtain his Part 1 MA.(Hons.) in Architectural Design at the University of Edinburgh. He has a keen interest in sustainability and believes this is best achieved by prelonging the life of extisting buildings through renovation and retro-fitting, whilst responding sensitively to the existing site conditions. Murdo also has a keen interest in photography both as a hobby and at a semi-professional level in the fields of architecture and for local fashion names.
