Kelly followed her passion and started work in a small Glasgow based architectural Practice specialising in conservation and restoration projects. It was while working there in 2005 that she completed her part 3 professional exam before leaving to gain experience in a number of medium to large Glasgow-based offices. During this time she gained experience on a variety of new builds and commercial projects, but it was with a wish to return to conservation work and existing buildings that she successfully applied for a position at GRAS, joining them in the summer of 2008.
Kelly also serves as a committee member of the Glasgow Institute of Architects as part of the Communication Team, a position she has enjoyed since 2004.
